A little bit about me.

First off my name is Derek Aguilar and I am a senior at Mountain View High School. I enjoy life very much. I have learned to not take life for granted and live it to the fullest! I love playing my violin, I have been playing for 7 years, I also love photography. I have always been interested in the different types of photography so that is why I have been taking all of the photography classes available at my school. I am currently in the highest level photography class which is photo 3. Over this semester I will be posting my projects up on here to show everyone what I have to offer. My favorite thing in the world to do is hang out with friends and family. I have learned to love and care for the ones that are always there for you through thick and thin, you never know which day will be your last with that person. Cherish every moment. Finally one of the biggest ways I live my life is to be who I am and not let anyone tell you other wise. Never forget who you are and of course people will judge you, but you just need to ignore them and just think to yourself that you know the real you and no one will ever change that! I hope to learn how to be a better photographer from this class and be able to see the world in a way that others can't view it. The picture above shows an amazing sunrise out and my grandparents house in windsor. I like the contrast between the trees and the sunlight shining through. Well that is a little bit about me. I hope all goes well and I get to show what kind of work I can do. And so it begins...
